Hey, what're you all planning to do for Halloween? I want to live through you lol I'm finding that everything is on weekends (haunted houses, haunted forests, pumpkin festivals) and C works on weekend evenings soooo...I'm not going to get to do anything Sad Halloween itself is even on a Saturday night..I'm going to be grumpy - maybe I'll just scare the neighborhood kids while he's at work (except it's no fun without him laughing me)..dammit

Hehehe nice one Alicia so no one got to play out then Wink
You know what I did same as Usual,(when are you gonna come Wink very nearly didn't make it though cos of this damn illness, as it was I couldn't drink, although I felt so much better on the 4th night I did have a brandy or two and was fine. I wish I could move to Whitby I'm sure it's healthier than here. Oh Whitby is  now officially "the Gothic capital of the world"!!!!
I've never seen so many people out on Halloween, We stay in the old town, which is like Nola's French quarter I spose. It's always very touristy but my goodness. You have to go over a bridge to get in to the old town and at one point on Sat afternoon there were 16,000 peeps trying to cross it 8 deep, the cars didn't stand a chance and they had to ship in extra police to try to keep it moving!! It was mad at night(in a good way) hundreds of peeps out all dressed up, spilling out of all the pubs. Some Goths were a bit arsey about it saying this is our thing and we don't want all these townies latching on but I thought it was fab and good for them for joining in. I'm now off to try to get some more photos on my face book(got a new camera so it got a good christening)
